Product-specific evidence chain

From ultrasonic feedback to retained preload records.

The documented closed loop measures axial force, controls hydraulic actuation against a configured target and stores the process record.

Illustrative workflow · based on supplied product documentation

  1. 01

    Measure

Ultrasonic feedback measures bolt axial force using the calibrated bolt parameters.

  2. 02

    Control

Servo-controlled hydraulic actuation works toward the configured preload target.

  3. 03

    Record

The system stops within the configured tolerance and stores analysis and process data.

This deterministic diagram explains the documented sequence; it is not a live software screen or independent performance validation.

Configuration review

Review your WIT-BW10 configuration

  • Bolt size, material parameters, contact condition and selected tooling
  • Calibration workflow, axial-force coefficient and configured preload target
  • Required tightening and analysis records under the approved operating procedure

Documented output: The system stops within the configured tolerance and stores analysis and process data.

Read this output with the stated operating conditions; it is not a site-specific performance guarantee.

Confirm before ordering

Confirm the included equipment and accessories, installation and calibration responsibilities where applicable, interface documentation, required records and delivery schedule in the project quotation.

Standards context: ISO 898-1:2013 — mechanical properties of carbon and alloy steel fasteners, including the proof loads a target preload is normally set as a fraction of. See also VDI 2230 Part 1 — systematic calculation of highly stressed bolted joints, which carries achieved preload from a minimum assembly value through a tightening factor reflecting how imprecise the assembly procedure is. This is the published requirement the measurement serves. It is not a statement that this equipment is certified or approved to it; conformity for a project is established by the buyer's own procedure.

Evidence boundary

First-party specification; not independent validation. This first-party manual supports the documented closed loop and product values. Its 3% full-scale value is not installed-joint uncertainty without the stated calibration and operating controls.

Document provenance

The source document is centrally managed by the supplier and drafted by its technology and R&D function.
