Product-specific evidence chain

From nacelle video to clearance records.

The documented system captures the blade passage, calculates clearance and retains video with structured measurement data.

Illustrative workflow · based on supplied product documentation

  1. 01

    Capture

Nacelle-mounted imaging records blade passage with documented night illumination.

  2. 02

    Calculate

Edge processing identifies the blade edge and calculates blade-to-tower clearance.

  3. 03

    Retain

Historical video and structured data support retrieval and project integration.

This deterministic diagram explains the documented sequence; it is not a live software screen or independent performance validation.

Configuration review

Review your WIT-VC20 configuration

  • Turbine and nacelle installation geometry, blade-passage view and lighting conditions
  • Required video and clearance-record retention
  • Available controller data and the industrial interface to be reviewed

Documented output: Historical video and structured data support retrieval and project integration.

Read this output with the stated operating conditions; it is not a site-specific performance guarantee.

Confirm before ordering

Confirm the included equipment and accessories, installation and calibration responsibilities where applicable, interface documentation, required records and delivery schedule in the project quotation.

Standards context: IEC 61400-1:2019 — design requirements for wind-turbine structural integrity, which is where a blade-to-tower clearance requirement originates; the permissible value belongs to the turbine's own design documentation. See also Helming et al., Wind Energy Science 8, 421 (2023) — an open-access study measuring tower–blade tip clearance on a 3.4 MW turbine by laser scanning, which reports a spread of roughly 1.5 m between minimum and maximum measured clearance under partial load. This is the published requirement the measurement serves. It is not a statement that this equipment is certified or approved to it; conformity for a project is established by the buyer's own procedure.

Evidence boundary

First-party specification; not independent validation. This first-party manual supports the translated specifications and workflow; it does not independently validate measurement performance or project-specific controller outcomes.

Document provenance

The source document is centrally managed by the supplier and drafted by its technology and R&D function.
